Lindsey Vonn, an American skier born on October 18 1984, won the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics for the downhill ski race. She holds the second-highest super score among skiers whether female or male. She's among the world's greatest skiers as well as the most loved American skier. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. She has won in the total World Cup competition four times. The athlete who has earned her name in American society. There are only six females who have won the five World Cup alpine ski events. In total, she's won 82 World Cup championships. One of the finest skiers around the globe and the most successful American ski racer has decided to retire following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. Four-time World Cup winner decided to quit after suffering from several illnesses. The four-time overall World Cup champion has announced her retirement on social networks. My last race of my professional career is scheduled to be on the island of Re Sweden next week, at the Downhill World Championships and SG World Championships.
