Ina Garden is an American writer of cookbooks, who has received Emmy award. Ina Garden hosts the oldest Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina began her career working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy papers. In the beginning, she found her work to be intellectually stimulating, however, she eventually grew bored and bought a small grocery store that was known as Barefoot Contessa. They spent 18 years making the business extremely profitable prior to selling it off before putting pen to paper to begin writing her first cookbook. Others followed, and so the magazine column. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut and became a massive hit. In addition, she sells all kinds of cooking equipment, tools and storage containers. Ina she never went to cookery class nor did she employed in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. Her name is ascribed to the simplicity of her cooking as well as her easy approach to entertainment. Some of her most popular recipes include the Skillet-Roasted lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
