Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in Blackpool. She studied at Arnold School in Blackpool. She was a headgirl and earned straight A grades in her A-Levels. If Coleman was asked about her Emmerdale role she replied that she regrets that she did not have the typical university experience. Coleman was in Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival in a troupe called In Yer Space, which she participated in while at the school. An award was presented to her for her performance, while the play itself received a favorable reception. Coleman was offered the role of Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21, 2012 that Coleman was set to portray Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion following the departure of Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other actors left the show. Moffat picked her to play the role because she is the most efficient with Smith and could speak more rapidly than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the industry of entertainment since 1987. Her most popular role was on TV. Eva is most well-known for her roles in the role of the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boa Vistas on CSI Miami. The character of Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children landed its two Daytime Emmy nominations. This provided her with the opportunity to show off her musical talent. Eva is an entrepreneur, and also an actress. Three times married, she has a daughter who is along with her husband.
